Terms of Service
This policy is published by Trajectory Changing Solutions, which does business as Peace Portal Hub. Both names refer to the same company, and it operates the software described below.
Trajectory Changing Solutions, doing business as Peace Portal Hub, provides case-management software to community violence intervention and victim-services organizations. These terms are an agreement between you and Trajectory Changing Solutions, and cover use of that software and of the text messages it sends. "We" and "us" below mean Trajectory Changing Solutions.
Text message program
Who sends them. Appointment reminders, sent by the organization working with you through software operated by Trajectory Changing Solutions (d/b/a Peace Portal Hub).
How you join. You tell your worker you want reminders and they turn them on. There is no other way to be enrolled. We never add anyone automatically and never buy or import numbers.
How often. Message frequency varies by how many appointments you have. Typically fewer than four messages per month, sent before an upcoming appointment. These are not marketing messages.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. The organization does not charge you for these messages; your mobile carrier may.
To stop. Reply STOP to any message. You will get one confirmation and then nothing further. You can also ask your worker to turn them off.
For help. Reply HELP, contact the organization working with you, or email support@peaceportalhub.net.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
What the messages will not contain
A reminder gives the date and time, the first name of the person you are meeting, and how to stop the messages. It will not include your name, the reason for the appointment, an address, or the name of any program. This is deliberate: a text can be read by whoever is holding the phone.
This is not an emergency service
Do not use text messages or the participant portal to report an emergency. Messages are read during working hours and may not be seen for some time. If you or someone else is in danger right now, call 911. For a mental health or suicide crisis, call or text 988.
Accounts
Accounts are issued by the organization you work with or receive services from. Keep your password to yourself, and tell them straight away if you think somebody else has it. Accounts are for the person they were issued to.
Using the software properly
- Do not try to reach records that are not yours.
- Do not use the software to threaten, harass or intimidate anyone.
- Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share.
Access can be suspended where these terms are broken, or where it is necessary for somebody's safety.
Records
What you write to your team becomes part of your record with that organization. Messages cannot be edited or deleted after sending, and supervisors can read them, because the organization is accountable for how its staff communicate.
Organizations using the software
Organizations are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what they record, for obtaining the consents their work requires, and for meeting the obligations of their own funders and regulators. Trajectory Changing Solutions processes that information on their instruction and for no purpose of its own.
Availability
We work to keep the software available and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. The software is provided without warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, organizations using the software will be told before the change takes effect.
